Ali’i Warriors Fight Club

The mission of Ali’i Warriors Fight Club is to provide the opportunity to learn and train for Muay Thai & Kickboxing ring fight competition. Training consists of warm ups, line drills, strength conditioning, lots of techniques – offense & defense drills, counter strikes, clinching, ring training with a coach/corner person, sparring, and ring fights.

The training is designed to instill positive self-awareness, self-motivation, and to teach the athlete to regulate his or her mental & physical fitness. Athletes will learn to manage their emotions for better fighting.

Beginner Muay Thai

In Beginner Muay Thai for non-competitive athletes, students learn the basic strikes, blocks, kicks, combination techniques, knees and elbow styles for Muay Thai. This is a great conditioning program that teaches bag training, correct mitt positioning, and Muay Thai pad training of kick and punch combinations.

Mateo Kajukenbo Self-Defense Institute

Mateo Kajukenbo Self-Defense Institute teaches the martial arts system composed of the best techniques from five different martial arts.

KA-from Karate

JU-from judo & jujitsu

KEN-from Kenpo

BO-from Chinese boxing

The founders of this system were masters of many different martial arts styles. Their goal was to work together and find the best in each others’ style to create a complete system of self-defense. The result is KAJUKENBO, an art that teaches multiple attacks and street self-defense. Our program emphasizes the art form of Hawaiian Kenpo, Gaylord method of Kajukenbo, and Tracy’s Kenpo.

Grand master aka Professor Mateo includes Muay Thai, boxing, plyometric drills, strength and conditioning drills, rotations, block strike combination, two-person set drills, ground attacks, and ground fighting. He stresses discipline and teaches a solid philosophy of self-control, respect, goal-setting, and commitment. As they continue their studies, students will become more self-confident and develop a strong self-image. Student are tested and progressed through the belt system as they master specific skills. Each belt signifies success and recognition.

For teens, Kajukenbo offers a whole range of benefits. Students will develop an increase in motor skills – coordination, balance and agility – along with mental discipline – self-control, self-respect, concentration, and self-confidence. These skills essential for success at home, school, and in life.
