Associate Grandmaster Frank Mateo aka Professor
Grandmaster Mateo is an 9th degree red & silver trim belt in Kajukenbo under Sr Grand Master Gerry Scott (Hawaii). He has trained in the KAA of Kajukenbo 5th degree Black & Red trim belt with Professor Brian Baxter, Tracys Kenpo with Jerry Samuelson, CHA 3 Kenpo under retired Associate Professor & Co Founder Frank Suan, Judo with Bob Nishii, Boxing at Palolo Gym, and Muay Thai in Don Muang, Thailand, where he lived for one year. He is a certified teacher in the State of Washington, Hawaii, and is nationally certified as a strength & conditioning coach NSCA (University of Hawaii, Leilehua High School, Kamehameha Schools Kapalama, ODea High School).
Grandmaster Mateo was previously an All-Star baseball pitcher in Hawaii, and was awarded Baseball Coach of the Year in 2005 by the North Seattle Baseball Association. That season his team won the championship game against a rival team that had gone undefeated to that point.
Grandmaster aka Professor’s fight team has a winning record as well. Martial Arts Sabaki Full Contact & continuous fighting 25-4, Muay Thai 28-7-1. He also ventured in organizing 10 events in Muay Thai. Matching fighters from Canada, Oregon, Idaho, Hawaii, Washington State.
AGM Mateo is a military veteran, and a member of the Veterans of Foreign War (VFW). He has trained military personnel, Secret Service agents, Seattle Police Officers, King County Sheriff Department, athletes (professional and amateur), and regular citizens in KSDI, Muay Thai, and Boxing. He also worked as a Personal Trainer at Nautilus Fitness Center in Honolulu, Seattle Athletic Club, Miekos Fitness, and at his facility.
